Chinese company expresses interest to restart tramp services in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – A Chinese company on Friday has expressed interest in restarting tramp services in Karachi.According to details, a delegation of Chinese company NORINCO International met Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah and submitted suggestions to resume tramp services.The recommendations have been sent to Transport Department for study.According to Chinese company, the tramp will work through solar energy while it will also assist the locals in travelling.It is pertinent to mention here that tramp services were suspended in 1975.
