CDA has approved the construction of an overhead bridge from Khiaban-e-Suherwardi to Chand Tara chowk. The project will cost approximately Rs 100 million.
According to media reports, the design for the completion of this project has been worked out, and the foundation stone of this overhead bridge will be set down in the first week of January.
Furthermore, the signal free road from Khiaban-e-Iqbal Margalla road to Kashmir highway will be expanded until it reaches the Pak China friendship centre at Chand Tara Chowk. It will be made signal free following completion of overhead bridge.
This project is expected to be finished by April 2017.
