Planning Minister, Ahsan Iqbal, says projects under development under the aegis of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor would benefit the less developed and backward areas of the country.
In a statement today, he said no province is being deprived of its share in the project.
Ahsan Iqbal said construction work on the western route of the corridor is in full swing, and the Gwadar-Quetta road is to be completed before the stipulated time.
Commenting on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister’s decision to move the court on CPEC issue, Ahsan Iqbal said such an action would create problems for the province itself.
He said foreign investment is not attracted through cases in courts; however, if the KP government wished for satisfaction by recourse to the courts, it could not be prevented.
