LAHORE: Barely an hour after a bomb blast rocked the city's DHA Y-block area on Thursday, another took place in the city's Gulberg area, according to police.
An hour ago, seven people had been killed and seventeen had been injured in a bomb blast that had taken place in DHA Y-block.
As per reports, the blast took place in a commercial market where there is usually considerable rush. Emergency was imposed in General Hospital Lahore to deal with the situation. Four cars and 12 motorcycles were destroyed as a result of the blast.
Police claimed that 8-10 kilograms of explosive material were used in the bomb blast. It was further disclosed by police that the bomb was placed inside the building and was detonated via a time device. It is feared that some people may still be trapped in the under construction building where the bomb had been placed.
