Rawalpindi—Managing Director Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Raja Shoukat Mahmood Tuesday said WASA has accelerated the pace of work on water supply projects in Union Council 76.
Talking to a delegation including General Councilor Hanif Awan and Raja Mahboob, led by Chairman UC-76 Chaklala Tanveer Sadique, met him here Tuesday, he said, water supply projects are being completed swiftly in Chaklala village and its adjoining areas. Work on 18 tube wells has been completed.
The main supply line is being laid and construction work of overhead and ground storage tanks is in final stage.
The delegation thanked the managing director for completing water supply schemes and expressed satisfaction over pace of work.
They presented proposals regarding the projects and urged to complete pipelines work within shortest possible time so that the residents could get clean drinking water.
